I feel for the poor guy, i'm not sure if there is a group for specifically supporting gay people but there is a movement for supporting minorities and is an anti-racism equal rights group, maybe he can ask them, it's called 'KISAS', a couple of numbers: 22878181, 22459306 (Nicosia).
